Peanut is a 1 year old female Whippet Cross. She is very sweet and loving looking for her forever home. Please come and visit her at the Kennels.
We are a non-Profit 501(c)3 organization that
promotes humane education through community
involvement. We serve all of Southeastern
New Mexico--taking in lost, abandoned, and
owner-relinquished companion animals and place
them up for adoption.
We are a limited-entry shelter. We are NOT a
no-kill shelter. We only take in animals we have
room for and keep them as long as possible.
We are proud to say that we are partners with PetCo. We participate in Puppy Playdays at PetCo and they offer fundraising events and donations to help us with our mission. We also have an on-site cat adoption center, at PetCo, so people within our community are able to see the pets we offer for adoption. Thanks to PetCo, many pets have been adopted through this partnership.

Keep our pets off the concrete floor! Consider
donating a Kuranda bed, in your name. These
are incredibly strong raised beds that are easily
cleanable. Our pets are loving them. If you are
to find our shelter, and then you can
donate whichever size dog or cat bed you wish!
Any donated will be shipped directly to us to
assemble Thanks so much for helping our pets stay
comfortable while they are in our care! We want a cold
nose and comfy toes!
